For Parents
Everyone gets to play; no one sits on the bench!
Tae Kwon Do provides a unique experience for children of all ages. Unlike many team sports, it cultivates each child’s individual strengths and allows everyone to develop at their own pace. It also fosters a sense of community, forming life-long bonds between both training partners and teachers. Afternoon classes for children ages 5-12 combine hard work with fun activities.
Tae Kwon Do…
- Improves etiquette and encourages cooperation with others.
- Is an excellent cross-training activity and off-season exercise for children involved in other sports.
- Increases confidence and assertiveness in shy children.
- Enhances gross and fine motor skills.
- Encourages physical activity and promotes weight loss.
- Provides an enjoyable and disciplined setting for LD and ADHD children, improving their attention span and listening skills.
- Offers short and long term goals through regular belt tests, which foster a sense of accomplishment and motivate students to continue training.
